Cuban-born Carlos Hudson has dedicated the last 32 years to his music and his instrument of the choice, the violin, and he’s not stopping anytime soon. He’s travelled throughout Latin America performing as both a soloist and director of musical theater. As gifted a teacher as he is a musician, Hudson taught at Cuba’s renowned music academy, EscuelaNacional de Musica de Cuba from 1989 to 1994; 2004 found him in Nayarit, Mexico playing for the Chamber Orchestra of Nayarit and teaching flute, violin and music theory at the Escuela Superior de Musica.
Today Mr. Hudson is the maestro of violin for the Esperanza Azteca Symphony Orchestra while continuing work as a soloist for hotels and private events throughout Cancun and the Riviera Maya; his flexibility and virtuosity keep him in demand.
