About the Artist:
The story of the Brockolis begins in 2002 when brothers Jorge and Ricardo Vidal take a few music classes and decide to form a rock band with their uncle, Jonathan Sanchez. They launch the Brockolis in Guadalajara with a repertoire of 30 songs and meet with immediate success. Soon they’re playing the hottest bars, clubs and private parties in the city, staying at some venues for months on end due to non-stop rave reviews: Flamingos, El Retorno, Potros Bar, Victor & Beer, La Choza, La + Querida, Agora Bar, D’jembe, Wall Street and La Cochera. They were in demand even beyond Guadalajara, playing in Teuchitlan, Ahualulco del Mercado and Valle de Juarez.
Sanchez leaves the group and Juan Gamboa joins it in 2008, a year that turns out to be huge for the boys. Jorge, Ricardo and two other musicians (not Brockolis members), form Teletransportador, an alternative rock band of original music, and with it they win the National Rockampeonato Telcel Competition. They record their first CD and go on tour. Today the brothers divide their time between Teletransportador and the Brockolis.
